As an aid to safety, Silhouette
features a standard 4-wheel antilock braking system. Under
maximum braking effort, the system modulates brake line pressure
to help prevent wheel lockup, helping the driver to retain
steering control and steer clear of an obstacle.
To make the most of available
traction on wet or slippery roads, the full-function traction
control system reduces engine power and/or applies braking
to the wheel or wheels that are slipping to help maintain
stability and control.
All Silhouette models feature
a side air bag*, stored in the side bolsters of the seats,
for both the driver and front passenger. The side-impact air
bags are designed to reduce the risk of injury in moderate-to-severe

also feature a dual-stage frontal air bag for both the driver
and front passenger.
Three-point front and rear
for outboard with front pretensioners, rear center lap belt,
